The Evolution of Lisa | Alias Portrait Session | Baltimore, MD

undefinedundefinedWhat can I say about my girl Lisa? She is stunning…Like stop traffic stunning! Instead of showing different sides of her personality, we decided to show different phases in her life. Of course she was a fly girl in her youth. Then she became a busy mother on the go. We were cracking up trying to create a pregnant belly under pillows to stuff under her dress. She describes each phase as being wonderful, but there was a fourth stage that we decided to leave out so we could concentrate on the happier times. I think that was a good call.

Lisa came prepared with props and hair for each stage. The gorgeous gray hair to the far right is actually natural. I think it adds to her exotic looks. Once I put the images together, I noticed that the color red was a constant in each portrait. I decided to add the sweep of red to ground the images.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think Lisa did her own make-up and hair for the shoot. The chunky red necklace was made by my mom.
